LEOS

This is a bit of a sad case.. a whole post dedicated to a place that sells food... buuuttt here it is

A new gourmet supermarket opened up near me, 'Leo's Fine Food and Wine', a literal 30 second run away.. it has everything that you'd find in your usual super market, plus everything specialised in organic, free range, fair trade, local farms, small businesses and all natural ingredients.
You have the allergy section with a huge variety and a frozen&fridge isle; your high-cholesterol walk of shame.. if not death. They even have a huge bread isle of baked goods and other wrapped soft breads, sparkly decorated cupcakes and flour and yeast so you can make your own delicacies!
Everything is perfectly shelved and in correct order, and it has been open since the 26th of May... I have been eight times in the last four days.... does that mean I just adore food or that I'm a little sad and secretly (and not so secretly) really pissed off that I didn't get a job there?
I know that place better than the people who work there! But I think actually..
I would really like to take some photos of the place.. so just you wait and see :D
I mean, at first I was seriously quite frightened scared of the place.. they sold everything so that everyone would go to them and not the other supermarkets around.. it was so huge and felt like Mary Poppin's bag, when you thought you couldn't be anymore surprised... WHOA! WATCH OUT, THERE'S MORE!
The place actually screams at you, 'HEY! HEY, LOOK OVER HERE! LOOK! MORE TEA! MORE OF THAT NATURAL STUFF.. OOO AND HERES HAND MADE SOAP.. COME ON... EVERYONE LOVES SOAP THAT SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE MINT!!!!'
However the second time I went in, I was with my sister, she really put it into perspective. They're supporting so many small farms and organic, free range products, so many of them are going towards community projects and appeals overseas. The isle of skin and home care is packed with grey-water-safe and herbal ingredients, the health foods go on and on and they even sell organic fruit and vegetables!!
It's better than Woolworths(It's Safeway.. it always will be :P), IGA, NQR(*sniggers*).. it really is.

However, there is too much choice.. like people don't need that much choice.. there is a shelf completely dedicated to honey... is that necessary? No, I don't believe so.

Ah well, nothing's perfect.. hey?
