Early spring’s sun blossomed over the courtyard, the golden light massaged the chapped smiles of winter’s harsh, blizzardry doing and soothed the cracked anger in everybody’s forehead.
People were happier on that 7th day of spring. The scent of fresh tulips and sweet grass sprinkled back memories from previous years and a new sense of peace filled peoples child-like eyes. The breeze remained chilly but buttery chocolate cookies warmed up the pleated uniforms and let the people dance a warm-bellied-dance again. Unfortunately for me, the chocolate cookies; sugary and crisp only made me burp, as had every single other thing I had eaten that day. My heart ached and my chest felt tight, the two cookies I had eaten definitely couldn’t be the cause of the heart burn I was experiencing, especially since it had inhabited me for the whole morning and the day previously. Jade’s smile and muscly legs stretched out, inviting my presence forward; I could have saddled him right at that moment if we weren’t in the middle of school’s courtyard. My knickers were soaked in my moisture, my thighs were unsure of what to make of such a feeling; I set there grabbing his legs near the groin area, being kept away only by the discrete air bursting from my mouth and stomach half wanting to give back the biscuits and cereal I had eaten for lunch.
The signs were there and I could see the worry in Jade's eyes.
