Pure Fruit

I haven't written since september and already it's mid october.

Last week I tried the most amazing fruit bread I have ever eaten.
I don't usually enjoy fruit bread, but this was a dark, nutty mountain of flavour that left me wanting more but not being able to fit it in; Pure Fruit.

For the first time in months, I woke up cold continuously throughout the night. Tried to wrap my blankets around me as tight as I could and let me beautiful honey-golden cat curl up next to me.
Last night I had, had another Pure Fruit as I worked and I craved it again on this bitter, husky morning.
Instead, I sliced open a mango and kissed it's juicy flesh, with sweet syrup dripping at my finger tips. It was a wonderful mango, but the house was too empty to fully bask in the glorious sun-setting orange fruit.
I fell into the jelly of dates and spat out their pips, they were definitely a yang food but too many would ruin their loyal season.

Pure fruit and all-spiced milk
It warmed my insides and sparkled in my mouth.
Crunchy, tingly bread with a heap of dates, figs, almonds, walnuts, prunes, currents and a dash of subtle cocoa to bring it all together.
